Restart from the goalkeeper is called what in hurling?

A. Goal Kick

B. Kickoff

C. Puck Out

D. Entry Pass

In hurling, goalkeepers restart play with a puck out. Puck outs are essentially hurling’s version of a goal kick in soccer. On puck outs, the goalkeeper restarts play by smacking the sliotar back into play from inside the small square.

Play is restarted via puck outs after every score and every wide. While puck outs are typically performed by the goalkeeper, any player is eligible to perform the puck out.
